I want to both thank and commend Jay Johnson and family for a job well
done at their 2nd House Concert Sunday July 9. From an artist's perspective
they did everything to make us comfortable and at home. The room we
performed in was air-conditioned, ample and had a very nice corner to play
from (even had a couple of lights on us). The audience, in spite of not
being familiar with house concerts were respectful, engaged and
responsive. Between sets we all went out to Jay's garage and shared food
and conversation. After the show we did the same. All in all it was a
wonderful experience for an artist and one I look forward to having again.
As a presenter, I understand all the work that Jay did to put this together. It is
truly a labor of love and I wish him the best as he
tries to establish this new series. The crowd was small in numbers but large
in heart, response and generosity. If you know people in the Cleveland or
Akron areas please let them know about this Streetsboro, OH up and coming
concert series. Thanks again Jay.
